One Question

In humanities we are writing poetry, we were learning about the poet’s tools. I wanted to use repetition. Here is the poem I wrote:

One Question

I ask you one question

Will you give me one answer?

No

You will not

For you are not even here

I am alone

forever

A single leaf blowing in the never ending wind

Forever me

The only one in a vast, infinite, sea

A small light in the darkness

The lone soul

Only one question

That will never get an answer

Where are you?

About the Author

Hi! My name is Ruby W. And I care about refugees because it is important that we help people even if they don't directly effect us. This subject is often overlooked. This is important especially now because of our current political climate.
