I think my group worked very well together. It was easy for us to split up the work so we could all do some and we were all comfortable with each other so it was easy to work together. We had completed writing our skit pretty early so we gave it to Gaby to correct. We went through 5 or 6 revisions and then we practiced a little bit. The first two times we had tried to do our performance in front of the class we messed up but I think we did really well in the last one. I think we could improve our pronunciation and we should start a little speaking louder.

Vocal Major Updates
In vocal major we have started working on longer songs. Some of the song have been really so I would like to extend my vocal range higher and lower. In the beginning of the year, being an alto was really hard but over time it has been getting easier to hit the low notes.

This picture is of the beginning of my value chart. In this picture, I was working with hatching. Hatching is where you shade something in by using a bunch of parallel lines.
Math Profile
When I was younger, like most kids, I hated math. Sometimes I would think the counting books were the best thing but when it came time for the equation, I didn’t have a clue or care in the world. I think a math disaster might have been in 1st grade when they asked us what half of 9 was and I said 5. In my head, everybody got really mad at me but in real life, nobody even cared. They just called on someone new.
My math success was only from last year but it was a good one. Both my teacher and I thought I was really falling behind. I didn’t really have much hope for my work. Once we got our first big test back I was super happy to see a four. I was really proud of myself for pushing and proving myself and my teacher wrong.
I like math because it makes feel accomplished when I finish a problem that was once extremely hard but now is not. I dislike math because sometimes it takes a lot of time and I wouldn’t really label myself as patient. I think I’m an okay math student. I good at the problems and the stuff on paper, I’m just not great at sharing that stuff.
