“Wait, the house is up that tiny trail?!” While I was in Cape Cod with my family, we stayed in a seclude cottage in the middle of the forest on the edge of a lake. While there I went swimming every day and laid in the sun. Since My family and I were in the middle of the woods one of the only things that connected us to civilization was a tiny trail just big enough so that the car could fit.
Most days I swam with my cousins, uncle, aunt and other family members. The first day I couldn’t swim because a swan decided it was going to takeover the beach and hiss at everyone who got close to the water.
My cousin dared me to jump off this deck. What was going through my mind at that moment was this is going to be easy. So I started at the farthest I could without going off the dock. I started running and then Jumped but there was one thing that I had failed to notice at the bottom, a bunch of clam shells facing up and the water very shallow. As I hit the bottom all my weight went into my feet. I could feel all the clam shells cutting into my feet and the pain of the sharp edges. So when I came out I noticed little cuts on the bottom of my feet. My cousin had done this plenty of times but he was shorter than me. Later he showed cuts on his feet after I told him about my cuts. One afternoon I went to get my sister to pick her up from a friends house. When I got there my sister brought me to the porch and showed me this sunset.
This is really good, and I really like how you talked about different moments when you were there.
