While the class was reading Beowulf we had to annotate. When we read the chapter we would circle and define vocabulary. We also would underline important parts of the book. Once we finished the chapter we would write a little chapter summary. I think that annotating is important because when you need to look back at the book, you can find the important parts, maybe for a project or an activity about the book. I think I was good at circling vocabulary, so whenever I found a word I didn’t know I would search it on the online dictionary, instead of skipping the word. I think that I can improve on underlining important parts, or paying more attention to the detail so I can underline important parts.
