This Is my first photo shop project of the year and I used a picture of Machu Pichu that I took and added a bunch of images using quick mask. We needed to use five principles of design. The five I used were scale which was my big UFO, I have contrast with my shadows, I have balance in were the big UFO is placed, harmony because everything works together, and I have emphasis in the color and size of the big UFO.

The technique I am using is called hatching. Hatching is a bunch of parallel lines that can make texture in your picture. the purpose of hatching is to create texture in your drawing. I think hatching is a very useful way to get texture and shade in your picture. The use of hatching allows for light and dark shading. Hatching is one of my favorite ways to get texture in my drawing but I think stipple is my favorite. Stipple is a another way to show texture. You show the texture by dots on the page. you can get different effects on your drawing by using a different amount of dots.

I am happy with how my piece is coming out because the pieces turned out very good. Also, the monuments are pretty good in my opinion. My next step is to finish painting Pier 40 and then glue all my monuments on to the correct puzzle piece. Also I will put the too little circles that fell off their piece back on to their piece.

       My favorite thing about this piece is the bear I like the bear Because I like how I drew the bears face so it is angry. My least favorite thing is my painting job. I don’t like it because I think I could’ve made it cleaner around the edges.

       I like the fires the most because I like how I layered the different colors. My least favorite part of it is the chair.

    This my wire sculpture. At first my sculptures were terrible then Wyatt  told me a trick of for making the sculptures me how to make one correctly. My sculptures is of me shooting a lay up. To get the right size we made proportion drawings. This is a proportion drawing.
