The 5th graders and 6th graders went to Ashokan, a learning center. At Ashokan we saw so much stuff like salamanders, newts, and chipmunks, and even a falcon! We also did cool activities like canoeing, or hiking. During canoeing we saw so much stuff like turtles, and beaver dams, and even beavers.
Another thing that was fun was hiking. The gorge hike was super fun, we saw so many animals, and we climbed a gorge to. My favorite part of the hike was laying on really soft moss on top of the gorge, the moss felt like a really comfortable bed. Also before we go to bed we do either games or we have an announcement. One time before we went to bed a guy visited and brought in these different birds like the Horned Owl, and the Hawk, and the Turkey Vulture and the Falcon. The games we played there were fun too. We played Simon Says and we played Trivia.
The food we ate at Ashokan was so good, I personally loved lunch time because the lunch was good there and I always loved lunch. Ashokan is a really good place for people who like to learn about nature and like to be in the outdoors.

Milei,
Great post! I’m so glad you had fun on the Ashokan Trip; it sounds like you came away with a lot of great memories.
A couple of spelling and grammar notes: “The gorge hike was super fun, we saw so much animals,” much should be “many.”
“The games we played there were fun to.” to should be too.
And because “Simon Says” is the name of a game (a proper noun), it should be capitalized. Make these few corrections and update your post, and you’ll be all set!
