Cinquain Poem
Flowers
Blooming in spring
Making fields colorful
Bringing bright smiles to faces
Summer

Oh Biza
How I miss when I could ride your back and sneak you treats
How I could nuzzle my face into your furr
When I spot a rhodesian ridgeback on the street I think of you
I had such little time with you before death came to your door
The tumor was in your lung and I couldn’t do anything to stop it
We drove up the the vet and said our goodbyes
I didn’t really know what was happening
I was too young to understand
I don’t believe in heaven or afterlife
But I know it was better for you to go in happiness than in pain
I hang in the wind all day long
My pot getting warmer as the sun goes up
I divided the life of two families
I can’t help them
All I can do is listen
The arguments back and forth never stop
They are friends, they were friends
I bring each of them joy when they see my flowers
I bring light to the dark times
The lovely lady waters me
And the man smells me every morning
He comes back late at night and he holds me for support
He can’t stand by himself for he is too tired
One day the lady didn’t come back from work and the man watered me
He cried as he did
Then when the lady came back the hugged
I feel like I brought them together
The arguments stopped and laughter started
I grow old but they keep me alive
It was Martha who saw the lake first.
Even in the middle of a clear day, much of the jungle is dark as a room at dusk.
I shouldn’t have done it.
Rudi had a feeling that something was wrong as soon as he returned from the village.
They’re out there.
I was one of the kids who slipped through the cracks.
The little girl wouldn’t stop crying. I didn’t blame her.
I was completely aware that I was being an idiot, that we needed to get out of there before anyone saw us, but it was like I had eaten spill-your-guts, and words just kept pouring out.
A dream, just a dream was what a piece of my mind told me, but the terror and pain ‘just a dream’ evoked seemed no small thing. Yet I couldn’t escape it.
I never asked for this.
Attempted murder was not how piper liked to start her afternoon.
A girl sits by herself in the ally way.
Despair engulfs her like cancer.
No one’s there to see her cry and scream.
Alone forever and left with sorrow.
Death comes to her door every day,
But she fights it off like a pack of wolves.
Her face is deprived of life
She smells of sewer and human excrement
The people that walk by stare
Not knowing what to do
How can they help?
Life will go on like this for eternity
With different people every time
This will happen until they die.
I am very happy about how my project is going. It is almost over and I am going to put layers in and hang it up. I am adding a moon in the back round. I am going to put every thing in order and line it up. I am very close to being done. It looks great and it is very colorful. I am going to cut out the to other spray painted papers and outline the last one in silver or white pencil. That way it will pop out. I think I am on the track to success.
Our group chose Travel to talk about. Our perspective is from a newscaster that has been to the Sibi Fair. We talked about the great assets that come with the Sibi fair. Then we did an interview with Wardak about how he liked the fair. It was a great experience and I learned a lot about the Sibi fair while reading the book.
This is the link to our interview:

Do You want to have the best time of your life? Come to the Sibi Fair!
The Sibi fair is the best place to go if you want to have some fun in Pakistan. It has wonderful games and rides. It also has a great selection of camels for trading. The Sibi fair has amazing musician and they will serenade you into the night. And a good trade means good fortune.
The weather at the Sibi fair is humid and lovely. It rains periodically for the camels to get healthy and for us to refill our jars. The sand surrounding the fair is just enough heat to toast your toes. When the sun rises up above your head it shines over everybody’s beautiful faces. The Sibi fair is welcoming to the 2nd pillar of Islam, Salah, for the five moments in the day. There are amazing spots outside in the sand for camping and festivals. There is also a lot amazing food. On the fairgrounds there are many stands lining the streets. You can get many different foods for low prices. The food is all made right there in front of you and is very fresh. There is also water and other drinks to for you, whenever you need them. “The Chapatis are simply wonderful!” Said Murad.
On top of that there are mysterious wonders in this fair. Like the magnetic man. He can place metal objects on his body and they won’t fall off. They also have the balancing brunet. She can take anything and balance in on her head. The Sibi fair has many more like the jumping jack russel, the morphing man, the cackling camel etc… These attractions are so powerful that it pulls in crazy people like the scary Man Woman. It has been to the Sibi fair multiple times, but don’t fear so far it hasn’t attacked anyone. We also have the notorious Wonder Wheel! You can ride it while eating a piping hot pan or your freshly cooked chapati. When you are up there it is amazing with the wind in your face and the sun gently beaming down at you. You can go there with your best friend or with your loved one. The trading at the Sibi Fair is great and you will not be disappointed. You can get the best camels in the eastern region. You can spend your time walking around, browsing for anything you want. It’s a great bargain. You can spend your time walking around the Sibi Fair. There are many booths to go to and many items to choose from. As you can see, the Sibi fair is the best place to go in Pakistan.

My idea is to have an out line of the New York city skyline in color. How I am going to do this is cut out the skyline out of the map, then spray paint it on to black paper. The problem I ran into was, I wanted a clean map outline to put in front of it. So I had to make another outline with black paper and cut that one out too. After that I decided that After I spray paint it I would want to hang it up by string. Right now I am testing spray paint ideas. I am still making it and I think it is going very well. I want to add in other thing hanging from string like a moon or a sun.
If you are ever giving birth and you are in a bad place, this is what to do. First you call out for help. A good tip for that is to wale. It brings more attention to you. If that doesn’t work try to push really hard, like really hard. Yell if it helps. And if that does not work then give up. It is probably already dead so just give up because you have tried everything. After someone comes they will help you and get the baby out. It is probably dead, but if it is not dead then you are lucky! Birth is a hard thing and I might not show it but I do care when my baby dies. “My wedding’s… ruined!”P.162 What if Dadi’s dead? What if Hamir’s dead? Can I ever go back to my new house? Oh, please Allah, what have I done to deserve this? Guide my father back to me. Shabanu doesn’t even worry about it. I wish I was more like her. She is so brave and wild. I try to let go, but there is to many things in my way. I must be a proper lady and do as Mama and Auntie say. Ahh, what if my life is ruined? I could die, that is so scary.http://www.pinterest.com
