Beowulf Project

For humanities we got into groups and we were assigned a character from a book we are reading, called Beowulf. I was in a group with Wyatt and Liam. We got the character Unferth.  We had to draw him and put put characteristics and quotes.

At first it was a little challenging because some of the people in my group were not very focused, but when we started making the final draft it got more interesting and people got more into it.

When we finished, it looked great! My whole group was proud of it, from the little boil on his neck to the charcoal. It was really fun in the end. I learned that you can get through something even if it’s hard to stay focused.

Summer Reflection

Although summer wasn’t long enough, I still enjoyed it. I definitely learned a lot of things. I learned/discovered that camp isn’t just about activities and sleeping. It’s about creating friends you can hold onto forever. Now all I can think about is missing all my friends that I made. I built a strong relationship with people that I am proud to call some of my best friends.

Probably one of the biggest moments this whole summer is writing this right now. I mean, I’m writing this so late at night because it’s September 8th and school starts tomorrow. Not just school. 6th grade. I remember the first day of 4’s K when we were trying to find chocolate the turtle because he had somehow climbed out of the tank. I remember one of my soon to be friends found him.

This summer has been so meaningful to me in multiple ways it would take many years for me to explain myself.

Thank you for reading this.
