For the Medieval Guilds, we had to create a felt square showing what our character’s like. Here’s my draft on paper:

In Science Class, we have been learning about good diets. The first thing we did was go to Choose My Plate.  We found out what a good diet was. We’ve been trying to eat better for the past days and I’ve done a lot better.

Who The Heck Are YOU? (In Progress)

In humanities we are working on a project called ” Who The Heck Are You?” We interview somebody and then write a article about them.

The first thing we did was come up with five people we wanted to interview. I chose Rachel Platten, but I could not get in touch with her on time. I went with my back-up, and did my cousin, Daniel. I have not interviewed him yet, I’m doing it tonight. After that I will write about him.

Khadijah Presentation

For humanities this week everyone got a packet on a medieval women. My group got Khadijah, but since her packet was short, we got two other people too. One’s name was Rabi’a al-Adawiya, and  the other one’s was named Zubayda. After reading the packets and learning about the women, we had to make a presentation. In our presentation, we had to have a slide about something that we researched. We researched Sufism. This project helped me as a learner because I got to experience making a presentation about something I learned.

Guilds

I am in the stonemasons guild. The other day we went to the library so we could research. I got a lot of information, including that you needed a licence to build a castle.

Arabian Nights Story Revision Reflection

Revision means making changes in the story, like in the story arc, character, description, or the theme of the story. Mechanical editing is grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

After my first draft, Julia left a comment saying to tell a story instead of summarizing it(the horse tells a story in the story). It also wasn’t so clear and descriptive so I had to make it more descriptive so it was clearer.
