We all worked equally on both parts of the project the newscast and artical. We each wrote about an equal amount and we all had a good part in the movie Ben was Dadi and Liam was grandpa, I was Phulan,Shabanu and, Mama. I would like to give a shout out to Liam for doing all the editing for the video.

How to Make Chapatis – By Phulan
If you are looking for something to make you should make chapatis! Chapatis are thin pancakes of whole-grain bread cooked on a griddle.
To make chapatis you need:
Step one of making chapatis:
In a large bowl, stir together the whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour and salt. Use a wooden spoon to stir in the olive oil and enough water to make a soft dough that is elastic but not sticky. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface until it is smooth. Divide into 10 parts, or less if you want bigger breads. Roll each piece into a ball. Let rest for a few minutes.
Step 2:
Heat a skillet over medium heat until hot, and grease lightly. On a lightly floured surface, use a floured rolling pin to roll out the balls of dough until very thin like a tortilla. When the pan starts smoking, put a chapati on it. Cook until the underside has brown spots, about 30 seconds, then flip and cook on the other side. Continue with remaining dough.

Best Friends
I wrote a poem called Best Friends and here it is:
Best friends

I wrote best friends talking about how I have a lot of best friends but they are not always right there. I did it to say that if I need someone I have a lot of people to go to but not everyone that I would like to. Best Friends is a cinquain poem and it took me some time to write. The form is cinquain type 3 which means it is:

I wrote 4 cinquains but this one is my favorite. I really like this poem because it expresses that I have a lot of friends but when I miss one of my best friends who live across the world I can go see one of them that lives nearby.
My creative writing piece
I am proud of this piece I like this piece because it was hard to come up with the story but I think that I used my imagination and it really made my piece special.
The Cloisters
On friday we went to the cloisters. At the Cloisters there was a lot of exquisite medival art. I always found unicorns very cool. I didn’t know that unicorns were so important to medival times. I thought they were just a fantasy. Of pink fluffy unicorns dancing on rainbows. I didn’t know they could be so brutal. But I had fun and I saw a lot of intresting art and learned a lot.
My reading and writing timeline
Reading and writing timelines is when we made a time line about how we have grown as a reader and writer overtime. We had to have pictures of the book say what age we read it at and why it was a milestone in our reading life.
I am proud of my timeline because it took a lot of time and effort to v what i read what I was 2 and why out of all books that book stood out to me. I also have read so much that I couldn’t decide what to put on my timeline. I also thought that it helped me look back on all of my writing pieces that I am really proud of and I was happy to share my work. My reading and writing timeline makes me proud because I put a lot of work and time into it and it turned out well. It makes me think about all I have accomplished academically and non academically. It is a piece of work I worked hard on and I am proud of it.
