Math Note-taking

Above is an example of Good Note-taking. I chose it because I believe a note is neat if you can clearly understand it and it covers what you learned in class. In this one my notes are clear, and after reading it I don’t have questions about the material. I also included what was said in class but not written on the board so I wouldn’t forget anything. I don’t think you need good handwriting to make a nice note, you just need to be able to understand the note.

Above is an example of Bad Note-taking. I chose it because I did not show my work. When I did this problem, I had just learned something and I did not show how I used that to solve the problem. If I had, I could have looked back before a test and see how I solved a problem using the skill. But because I didn’t show my work, I am a little confused about how I did.
