This is our Halloween project. I think I will do more but I’m not sure yet. For this project, we used/said:
adjectives
personal info about characters
Described the costumes
present tense
We also used quizlet vocab
In math class, we were asked to write a profile about us and our successes, failures, hard times, triumphs, in math what I like and dislike about math, whether or not I consider myself a good math student, my math homework/study routine and what helps me when I get stuck, and anything else about math that Michelle should know. This is mine.
This is my value chart. In this photo, it isn’t done yet. I have already done hatching, and I have just started cross hatching. Hatching is used to create shading or tonal effects by using tightly together parallel lines. Cross hatching is the same as hatching, but instead of parallel lines that only go in one direction, they go in multiple different directions. Next, I did stippling, which is using ink. It is the same as hatching and cross hatching, but you make dots instead of lines. After that I did random marks. Again, it is the same as the previous techniques, but you make random marks of your choice instead of lines or dots. In my case, I made H’s for Harvey. You can’t really tell, but at the top, it says 2H, HB, B, 2B, 4B, 6B. The higher the number if it is followed by B, means that the graphite is thicker, but if the number is followed by H, the higher it is, the thinner the graphite is.
