In order to do this project, we had to learn how to describe a lot of activities. I enjoyed a lot about this project. What I enjoyed most about this project was the open-guidelines. I thought that it was fun because we could be funny, which is something that usually helps my work and makes it better.

Crucible Comparative Essay
This is my Crucible Comparative Essay. From this essay, I learned a lot. I learned how to make good connections. I learned this because I had to make connections in this essay because we were comparing and connecting time periods together. Surprisingly*, I also learned about the Salem Witch Trials and the McCarthy Era. Before this project, I didn’t even know who Joseph McCarthy was, I barely knew what the Salem Witch Trials were, and didn’t know that there were so many common themes between them. I also learned more about current events and connecting history to current events to gain knowledge. But I learned a lot about me as a writer. I learned that my descriptive language isn’t actually that descriptive and I have to work on it. Throughout the year, I’ve heard the phrase “quality, not quantity,” but I never really believed it until this project. I think that this will help me as a writer because I won’t go off-topic just to get more words on the page like I did on my humanities test.

My Good (and Bad) Math Notes
In order for us to learn from our mistakes, we have to know the differences that show a mistake versus something that was done correctly. Above, you can see an example of bad notes. And below, there is a picture of my good note taking. The notes above are bad because my writing is too big, as it takes up more than one letter per space. It is also not very neat. The notes below are good notes because it is very neat, and it also each box has one letter in it.
My Giver Essay
After we read The Giver, we wrote an essay. I did well, and I spent a lot of time, and I think that I got the grade that I deserved because I spent a lot of time, work and effort on it.
Notecard
To help us with our research papers, we had to do many note cards about our topic. I think that this was a great project, although it was hard to manage in the final week. I think that in the end, my final two note cards were the best, and Suzanne agreed because I got two 4’s. We were only supposed to put one note card in, but I wanted to put both in.
I would like to thank Suzanne because she was the one who had trust in me to get the 4’s. I would also like to thank Suzanne because she gave me advice to help me get a 4. Also, I would like to thank Suzanne because she put the 4 into jump rope.
Making 13 Colonies
So far, the making 13 colonies book has been fun. I have learned many interesting things that I don’t think that I would’ve learned otherwise. My work has also has been very good. It was a lot of fun, and I want to keep up what I have been doing. It really helped me to figure out how to find good evidence and how to analyze it. Here is the work:
My Nature and Cities Check-In
I am very proud of this project because I did very well, and my studying paid off. I was also proud of this project because I didn’t feel very confident about myself in the actual check-in. This check-in is something that I am proud of because it was something that was very important to me. I think that this check-in helped me gain knowledge about one main topic that we will be focusing on in science.
My Roto-Copter Experiment
I am very proud of my Roto-Copter experiment because I think that I worked really well. I think that part of the reason that I worked really well was because I worked with a person who I think that I work well with. Eli and I came up with a very good question, and we solved it very well. I also had a lot of fun because it was a very fun project.

I am very proud of my essay because I got very good grades because I took a lot of time to perfect it, and I was excited because it was a very good book, so it was fun to write.
