In music we had to choose a certain genre of music we were interested in doing. I chose Pop Rock. The reason chose this is because it’s a mix between my two favorite genres of music: Pop and Rock. The difference between this genre of music and other is that there is so many different things you can do with pop rock because it’s a mix between two genres. It has been really fun writing in this genre because there is so many things I can do.

Who the Heck are you

In Humanities we are in the middle of a project called Who the Heck are You. For this project we were supposed to choose somebody that we were interested in interviewing. For my interview I chose our family friend Spike Mancheski who is a pilot. The reason I chose this person is because I was very interested in what he does for a living.

I am still in the process of conducting the interview, but before conducting the interview we had to do something else. Since we didn’t know if we could absolutely interview this person, we had to send them a hand-written letter. Once we got the confirmation that we could interview them, we had to come up with interesting question to ask during the interview. Tomorrow I am going to be conducting the interview. After I conduct the interview I will right up a entry about what I learned from Spike in the interview.

In science class we are learning the food groups and what proportions you have to have of them. These graphs show what the 6th B eats percentage wise at lunch of eat food group. The class before is what we had before we did the graphs and the class after is a week after we did the graphs. The point of this was to compare the graphs.

Arabian Nights Piece

When writing an Arabian Nights story we learned what revision is. Revision is not as much as technical errors but more as how your sentences are written like is it descriptive or did I explain this enough. When I was revising I found a lot of places were I could of expanded more on what I had wrote. After revising your piece is a lot more interesting and better.

#3 Math problems 1/27

This is the last math problem we did:

Miles needs a certain percent of 150 that equals 18 what is it?

18=  %of 150?

for this problem I did 18 ÷150 which =.120 which is 12%

Math problems 1# 1/27

This is one of the problems we worked on in math class:

Joe wants 40 pies. He is wondering what 40 is 20% of because that would be even more pies. 40 is 20% of what.

40=20%of what number?

For thus problem I thought 20% is the same as 1/5 of 100. Since 40 is double of 20 then it must be 200 because your also doubling the 100.
