Summer Reflection

I had a lot of fun this summer. I did a lot of things like: Camp, and going to Wyoming or going to France but my most favorite thing I did this summer is going to the Women’s World cup.

This summer felt different from the others. I am usually really excited for the summer and happy to be away from school but this time it was different, on the last day of school i realized i am going to really miss every and its going to be hard not seeing them every day in the morning at hopefully 8:15.

I had a lot of fun this summer and I kinda don’t want it to be over but i’m glad it’s coming to an end so I can see my friends again.

Camp

Over the summer I went to sleep away camp for two weeks. Let me just say it was horrible. It wasn’t till the second to last day that I actually started to have fun. The main reason of why I did not have fun is because of the way the day ran. Every period you could choose from 3 different activities and sometimes the activities would be arts/crafts, cooking, and dance. I did not want to do those choices but I had no choice. The reason I started to have fun on the second to last day is because just then they started to give us interesting choices. I am never going to forget that camp because of how horrible it was.

Wyoming

During every summer and winter I go to Wyoming. During the winter we go skiing and during the summer we do a lot of different activities including mountain biking, hiking, and rafting. Our house is part of Teton Village in Jackson Hole Wyoming. I love to mountain biking out there. I am very good at it so i can do a lot of jumps and harder things that you could not do if you were not good at it. I love going to Wyoming and im looking forward to it in the future.

Women’s world cup

At the beginning of the summer I went to the women’s world cup in canada. My family and I went to Ottawa to se the quarter finals. The matchup was The United States vs China. Since canada is a different country we had to bring our passports with us on the plane. It wasn’t till a few weeks before that my mom realized that my pass had expired and, you need your passport to take a plane. You don’t need a passport to drive though you just need an birth certificate. So that’s what we did. Most people at the game were USA fans. It felt nice o be on the side of the team that had a majority of the fans. The final score was 1-0 USA won. When we scored the only goal it felt like the best feeling in the world. I was so happy that we won and had a very good time in anada.
