I chose to do jazz because I’ve always liked jazz, I wanted to try making a jazz piece. I had trouble researching jazz musicians because I barely knew about them and jazz history, but I learned about jazz while researching. I think that my drum beat goes really well with the rest of my piece and is very jazzy. I feel like my A section goes with all the other instruments in it. Also, I really like my ending but I think I can work on it a bit more. I have been stumped in while doing my piece and I don’t feel like my piece is “jazzy.”
