This is the picture of the improved graph

My graph ended up looking like this.  I say “ended up like this” because in the beginning it looked much different then this because in the beginning of my graph 100,000 years ago I had it at zero(One mistake) because like 30 apes turned into homo; sapiens, they did not just appear.  also I had it so that at 8,000 years before the year Zero 5.5 billion people were alive.  It actually was that 5 million people were alive instead! That tripped me up but now it is better.  But even though there are 7.8 billion people a]live right now.  There were only 5 million back then.  FWI humans were created 200,000 years ago. (just to show you how long it took them then to get as high as 5 million and how it took only about 2 thousand years to get to 7.8 billion.)

Our group did relatively  good we got like 3 wrong but I caught our group on one so we only had two.  Our group had a good strategy.  While 4 of our five people was looking over their learning logs or talking and discussing what they thought was wrong, one person would be looking at the timeline.  Once everyone had looked through we presented to our group what we thought was wrong, then we looked through our Learning Logs, then consulted and hopefully came to the same point.

I noticed that some of these graphs have dots and some do not.  Some of the graphs start in the corner and some don’t.  Some of the graphs are accurate but do not look the same.  Some of the graphs go on a while but they shouldn’t.  Some graphs can go in 2 places at a time.

I think atoms are small balls.  All the spikes are the energy inside of it.  The rings on the outside of it, are the bubble it is in.  The small dots are all of the things that drag them together.  The bumps are all the Mass. The big brown field is what tons of Atoms look like together.  A challenge was how somethings I could not find and some things could not go over each other.

I think my Atom resembles on the top resembles J.J Thomson and Chadwick’s.  The squishy looking middle resembles the J.J. Thomson “Cookie Atom.”  The outside ring resembles Chadwick’s model of Electrons whizzing around the outside.

My model on the bottom I think resembles Chadwick’s model because it has Electrons whizzing around the Nucleus.

I think that the homework planner should be about some kind of food because maybe for me it will remind me that after I do my homework I can eat a snack.  I also think that it should be an ice cream cone because it is delicious.  Also because in each ball of ice cream could be a subject.

This summer was really exiting.  I went to Yellowstone with my family.  We saw bison and Old Faithful and elk.  We went to the canyon and we did 13 mile hikes a lot. But before that we went to Lake Placid and did some bobsledding and skiing.  We also got freaked out by a squirrel.

Your portfolio can be used for many things through out your middle and high school years, including:

• Documenting and reflecting on your learning, passions, and interests, both in and out of school
• Curating and highlight work for your Family Conferences
• In some instances, your teachers will ask you to submit, reflect and comment on work in this portfolio

It is our hope that you also seek to make this a personally relevant learning space in which you curate work that is important and meaningful to you. As you build this learning space, we also hope that you will use it as a way to connect with other learners in the LREI community and beyond.

Your LREI account (Mail, Docs/Drive) credentials will automatically get you into your blog. Here are a few things you’ll want to take a look at:

1. Change the name of your blog. To do this, go back to the Dashboard and click on the “Home” symbol, then on “MS Digital Portfolio Template” under “This Blog.”

In the field for “Site Title,” add a new title. You can use your first name if you want (e.g., “Mark’s Digital Portfolio”), but don’t use your first and last name. You can also create a title that doesn’t have your name in it. Be as creative as you want, but keep in mind that the title should relate to the purpose of the portfolio.

After you’ve added a new title, click “Save Changes” at the bottom of the page.

2. Add a Post

For the most part, you’ll be adding items to your blog as posts. To add a new post, you can click on the +New button in the top bar of your blog, and then select “Post.”

You’ll want to give each post a title, and assign it to a Category. These categories are broken down by class and grade (e.g., fifth grade, core, etc.). This will allow you to organize and sort information so that you can control the look and feel of your blog. If you take a look at the menu bar under the blog title, you see the different groups of categories (e.g., class, grade, teacher, etc.).

When you’re done with your post you can click “Publish” on the side to make the post appear on your blog
