In the goo investigation, we were told to make inferences and observations about the goo. An Inference is what you think will happen based off of numbers and data. One inference made during this experiment was the goo would break if you threw it really hard at the ground because when we lightly dropped it, it almost broke. An observation is making a guess on something but only using what you see. One observation that was made was the goo would break at a certain point from stretching it. In the next experiment we talked about the different states of matter, gas, solid, liquid, and plasma. In this experiment we chose a material to test if it was a non Newtonian fluid. We chose to make goo. It is a non-newtonian fluid because it acts like a solid and a liquid. We tested this by seeing how long a weight would take to sink into the goo.
