Action Plan:

  1. Determine which Recipes I will cook
  2. Schedule time to talk to grandmother about cooking these recipes
  3. Cook
  4. Reaserch recipes history
  5. Record findings in food blog
  6. Schedule time to talk to relatives about family history
  7. Photograph entire process
  8. Combine Recipes, photographs, family history, and food history into book

  1. Meet with Grandmother
  2. Write down recipe and cooking steps
  3. Cook and take pictures
  4. Record reactions and results in food blog
  5. Research recipe I cooked in textbook
  6. Add history findings to blog post
  7. Edit blog into a clear post about the foods history, what it was like cooking the food, tips when cooking the food, and the recipe

Week 1:

Research different publishing/website options for book

Start textbook “A gift from the gods”

Meet with Grandmother to discuss first three recipes

Create schedule for two times a week interviews with family
