So far, I have continued to work on the assignment that I began during week 5. Completing this assignment has taken much longer than anticipated, therefore our professor, Mr. Carr, has extended its deadline to this upcoming Thursday. I will keep this post–along with the one from last week–updated as I move forward with my assignment.

Although I likely will not begin it in time to present it during the Senior Project Presentation, my next assignment will be to draw floor plans of photographs of living rooms using “guesstimated” measurements, and then to map them out in three-dimensional form–one from the first perspective, and the other from the second perspective. Based on my increased awareness about my speed as a drafter, I expect these sketches to take quite a few weeks.

Furthermore, mapping my bathroom and living room plans into SketchUp has been a real challenge these past two weeks. Not only are they much more complicated than my previous drafts, but my homework assignments are also beginning to pile up. I will try my very best to have the SketchUp models prepared by the Senior Project Night, however if this does not happen, I believe it will only be proof of my dedication to my physical drafts and their increasing complexity.
