Jack Schnall CR #5

Over the course of my senior project, I have gotten into a good habit of following a similar schedule each week. While it can sometimes feel a bit repetitive, I think this system helps me get everything done each week. Since I’m focusing on something I love, it isn’t hard to complete the activity parts of my project. The only part that is tedious is all the reflections. I get that I have to document my work but it seems like busy work at times. I’m not going to use my reflections much in my final presentation so it can get frustrating. What I know I don’t know is how to successfully get more variation in my documentation. I have a lot of the same camera angles so I need to find a way to change it up. I also need to start thinking about how I want to present this information in the end. I might do a video or slideshow but I need to figure out the details.

  1. Jack, think about interviewing some people and recording them (maybe via Zoom). This is something you can use in between your videos of riding, or maybe you will get the perfect soundbite from someone that you can use as a voice over. Also, consider how you will incorporate what you’ve written from your blog posts along with whatever you’re reading.
