Week 3:
I’ve gotten into a pretty good routine at this point when it comes to my workflow. This week, I’ve been doing a little bit of everything. I hosted my first watch party on Saturday, worked on Badge Guides, watched new resource videos from councils, and I got most of my live sessions scheduled. I also reached out to my CIT program leader to see if I can interview her. She is in charge of all activities at camp, and since they moved to a virtual setting, she’s been making video versions of Badge Guides for nature themed badges. I also started brainstorming some live badge sessions to host on Zoom, but I’m having a bit of trouble coming up with which badges I should do, and activities that can be done in a group in a limited amount of time. I think this is because I’ve only been working independently on badges for at least a year now, and I can take my time on them and work over the course of a week or so. But if I host a live badge session, I would have to choose activities that are more collaborative and that can be done within an hour or so.
