CR#3: Aidhan Farley Astrachan

Now that I am halfway through the project, I realize that I have set a pretty good routine for myself. When I wake up in the morning, I choose between going on a run, doing an in-home workout, or meditate/ yoga. But I make sure I do one of those three things. It helps me stay focused and having a strict routine was something I knew I needed to set for myself. I also realize that the life I am living during Senior Project is not far off from what a professional soccer player’s life would be like. My days revolve around my practices and games. I make sure I eat specifically at the right time so my stomach has time to digest before practice. I make sure my workout is earlier in the morning so I give my body enough time to recover before training at night. I am meeting with a dietitian weekly to ensure I am getting enough fuel in my body.

  1. This sounds great. Have you experimented at all? For example, what if you eat at the ‘wrong’ time? Or what if you meditated and then went for a run? I’m curious about what your findings would be.
