EMT Final Written Exam Study

 

Because my course is nearing the end, I have spent most of this week studying for the final written and skills exams. Throughout my course, there have been several homework assignments, quizzes and exams. In order to continue the course, all students must complete the assignments on time with a minimum of 80% for homework assignments, and 70% for quizzes and exams. This is because the final state written exam has a minimum of 70%. It is a 2 hour multiple choice exam with between 70 to 120 questions covering all of the material we’ve learned so far. There is also a practical skills exam testing us on all of the different physical skills that we’ve learned so far. It is done with a point system. For each topic, there are a certain amount of points that you can get plus some critical steps. All of the points are added together, unless you miss a critical, in which case you fail the exam. Your final score for that skill are all the points you gained added together.
