documentation – week 2 pt 2

Since I was not able to go purchase new fabrics this week at fabscrap, I decided to go to a small local business near my house. A small shop called Alma’s Fabric is owned by an old woman who sells a plethora of fabrics and also tailors clothes. I think that an important part to note about sustainability is that it is not always affordable to some people unless you are shopping second hand. An alternative to that is supporting small businesses if you can not find what you need sustainably. So, although I was not able to go to fabscrap this week because of how far it is from my house, I thought it would be a good idea to support this small business that is struggling through the pandemic.
