Decided on and shaped bottom contours, more towards the tale of the board. This is a double edged nose with a concave in the middle. I would like it to help with planning the front of the board while nose-riding and giving it a better and more effective edge.
Luke, how much of the decision related to the size and depth of the edge is based on physics/mechanics, your experience riding other boards, or just a feeling about what seems right? Maybe it is all of these. How does attention/awareness to the way you are making these key decisions inform your design process? What is emerging for you as the key design aesthetic of “Luke” board compared to others boards?
