This is a master class by my favorite designer, David Carson. In this video which is a trailer for his class, he talks about being different and really exploring your own way of designing. This idea really shows in his work which is playful and like no one else. Through this project, I am doing my own version of what Carson does, exploring a different way of working and seeing what is authentic to me. This idea really connects to my essential question because of that exploration of new ideas and forms.

Second is the book I am currently reading, Techno Rebels by Dan Sicko. In this story, the musicians from Detroit and around the world are leading the way in a new form of music, Techno and electronic. So far I am finding the story fascinating because of its connection to what I am doing in my senior project. Although I am not creating a new genre of music, I am exploring this electronic music further and discovering new things every day.
