I am exploring my essential question in exactly the way I thought I would be – through diving into the numbers. Every day that I explore numbers to eventually be put into words, stories, and broadcasting patterns, I see a clearer connection between the world of numbers and the qualitative world we live in.

So far, I really have not run into any problems. My contact at Fox Sports Detroit has been incredibly helpful providing me feedback and getting past paywalls for data. My plan, for now, is just to keep doing what I am doing.

I think at this point, I have a solid base regarding an answer to my essential question. While I don’t think I am at the point where I can put my experience and understanding into words and coherently explain my findings, but in my mind, answers are starting to form as I take in more and more.
