I know a good amount about the topics my senior project is covering. I know that certain skills, specifically aim are definitely important in someone’s performance in certain video games, specifically fps games. This topic is important to me as I’ve always wondered what specific factors into someone’s performance in video games. I know it is not purely based on the amount of time played as I have played video games for a long time and am not anywhere close to being at the same level as professional players, or even regular players who are better than me.

I don’t know what skills specifically impact performance, which is why I chose a variety of tests. I also do not know how much of a difference anything will make but that is part of the process. I am excited to see if there is any correlation between the skills I am testing and someone’s performance in video games.
