Learning Goals:

• I want to engage with and explore my essential questions (both through the text and my own work).
• I want to learn how to harness my creative impulses and communicate my ideas honestly and thoughtfully through art and writing. As I pursue my Project, I want to be cognizant of my habits and strategies I am making to work though blocks so that I can develop a healthier relationship with my creative work and myself.
• And of course I want to gain insight into other people’s experiences with Dante and Inferno.

General Work Plan: 

Throughout my week I will be:

• Having conversations about Inferno.
• Re-reading the poem alongside guidance from people, papers, podcasts, etc.
• Engaging with other works inspired by Inferno.
• Creating my own adaptation (will most likely consist of writing, but TBD).

Documentation: 

I will document what I’m doing through the timesheet and all the things I’m figuring out/exploring through process writing and reflection. In the end, I hope to present a finished adaptation, but I plan to spend my first week of the project gauging whether this will be plausible or if it would be more realistic to create a single piece of work per week.
