Action Item Area: One-on-one weekly writing session with a professional writer

Reason for Item: Having a professional writer help me write my story will be helpful to have because they know what they’re doing and can push me forward and give me tips and advice. Since I’ll be doing most of the writing on my own, it will be nice to have a teacher so I can have some structure and guidance. 

Resolution: I have already scheduled this with a professional writer and have this set in place every Thursday. 

 

Action Item Area: Masterclass courses

Reason for Item: These Masterclass writing courses are taught by professional writers and have been rated really well on many different forums and I believe these classes will teach me to write better.

Resolution: I already have a subscription so my only job is to sign up.

 

Action Item Area: Coursera writing courses

Reason for Item: These courses have also been rated really well on a number of different forums and I believe that they will help me become a better writer. 

Resolution: Sign up for course (mom agreed to pay the $50)

 

Action Item Area: Novels that I’ll be reading

Reason for Item: These novels will teach me about the importance of words, which is my essential question. It will also help me become more articulate, which will help me write my story better.

Resolution: I have already chosen the books, I just have to buy them.

 

I have already signed up for a one-on-one writing course that takes place once a week for two hours. I also already have a masterclass subscription. Right now all I need to do is buy the 5-ish books I’m planning on reading. These books total will cost me around $50.
