Timeline
- Reason for item: I need a plan for my work
- Notes: This plan is flexible depending on whether or not I determine need more or less time for each phase
- Resolution: 4/6- 5/4 will be when I will draft and work on my story. I will then spend 5/5 – 5/12 revising it and getting feedback from a few trusted people. Finally, 5/13-5/23 I will polish the story and get feedback from a general population to try and adjust for readability, accessibility, etc.
Materials: Scrivener
- Reason for item: I have used the free trial of Scrivener to begin outlining my story and have found it very useful to me in keeping my work organized
- Notes: For students/institutions, it costs $42 for a year.
- Resolution: If this is approved I will use scrivener as my main drafting tool.
Connections: Bill Bly
- Reason for person: Bill Bly is an acclaimed hypertext author who has been writing hypertext fiction since the invention of the genre, and can help give me feedback on my work
- Notes: He is my step-aunt’s father, so connection is easy.
- Resolution: I have already begun communicating with him via email and plan to continue to as I progress on my project.
Space: My house/a cafe nearby
- Reason for this: I need a quiet space to work on my project and I plan to sometimes stay at home or go to a cafe nearby my house.
- Notes: This cafe allows patrons to sit down socially distant, and has an indoor and outdoor area. They use contact tracing in case there is a COVID case, so I feel safe going there.
- Resolution: I will use both of these spaces to work on my writing.
Budget: $42
