General Work Outline
Week 1
- Start my internship (or shadowing)
- Get books needed for the 6 weeks
- Read book 1 + any interviews that author did for that book, as well as book reviews
Week 2
- Continue my internship (or shadowing)
- Hopefully interview an author on what the writing/editing/publishing process looks and feels like for them on their end
- Read book 2 + any interviews/book reviews on that book
Week 3
- Keep doing my internship (or shadowing)
- Hopefully interview Karyn or someone else about the book reviewing process
- Read book 3 + any interviews/book reviews
Week 4
- Keep doing my internship (or shadowing)
- Read book 4 + any interviews/book reviews
Week 5
- Continue my internship (or shadowing)
- Read book 5 + any interviews/book reviews
Week 6
- Finish up my internship
- Read book 6 + any interviews/books
Documentation Plan
I plan to document my plan in a Daily Log. For the days I’m doing my internship or interview someone, I’ll write a few sentences about what I did and learned. For the books I read, I can make a spreadsheet documenting the book, the author, how many pages I’ve read, etc.
