For my senior project, I plan to intern with my dad as an economic data analyst. I want to learn how data analysis works / how the correct graphs are made to predict what the economist is asking for. Beyond that, I also wonder what a career in that field looks like, how specialists in data analysis interact with or obtain clients, what kinds of jobs do they have? To help answer this question I will create graphs and spreadsheets tailored to the data and add and change these forms to best serve the data. In addition to interning with my dad, I will also apply for the Google data analysis shot online program. The ad for this program was on TV so imagine an 18-year-old is able to sign up for the course. As my final project to share I will compile charts and spreadsheets, I’ve created and add summaries to each of them explaining how they affect people. This project will easily be able to happen if we are in lockdown or otherwise.
