What will the final product be?

Blog

I won’t be just looking at art, I am hoping to create a comprehensive blog as well. Each Museum will receive a write up at approximately 500 words and it will be a critique not necessarily of the art or artist, rather the institution that hold their work and the intentional choices they made to showcase the art. The blog page will also consist of images taken at said museum and art made inspired by the visit. At the beginning of the project there will less comparison between Museums but as I get to the 10th museum I will compare more between them.

Art

Over the course of the project, I will complete 10-15 pieces of art inspired by art seen in some of the 30 museums. Currently I am most interested in Film Photography and Linoleum Printmaking and both mediums can be easily added to my blog along with the museum/exhibit that served as inspiration.

 

Schedule 

Ideally, I will do this project between April 5 – May 5 visiting two Museums on the Weekends but  during any writing or art during the week. 

From mid-May, until  June that time will be spent working on the write ups for each Museums and also working on 10-15 distinct art pieces inspired by Art seen in the 30 days. 

My Daily Schedule for the Project 

9:30- 10:30	Depending on the Museum, I would spend the morning traveling there (Average time to get to each Museum is 45 minutes from my house)
10:30-2:00	Photographing, Sketching, and Writing for the project in the Museum and right after while it is fresh in my mind( Lunch included in this time)
2:00-3:00	Going home and brainstorming writing possibilities and Art projects
3:00- 5:00	Updating my blog from the day and Writing and creating art
