I’m interested in working with and around animals, since I have come to the realization that I really enjoy caring for injured/sick animals during quarantine, and I would like to intern at a vet office, animal sanctuary, or animal rescue center to learn more about how different kinds of animals are cared for and how they are released back into their natural habitats.
I want to learn if this could be a possible career path for me since I’ve loved being around animals my entire life, and during quarantine, I’ve been able to take care of all our farm animals every day. I want to learn how different vet/sanctuary/rescue centers operate, and how they help rehabilitate different species of animals. I also want to learn more about how to care for wildlife, not just domesticated farm animals which is what I’m used to. I also think what I learn technique-wise can be really helpful to me later on with the farm because sometimes one of our chickens gets injured and I don’t really know what the best way to help is.
