The key essential questions that are driving my inquiry are how can I tell a story about my life through the art form of comic books, what does the process of creating a comic book look like, and how can I show how different times in history (before my parents were born, when my parents were growing up, and when I was growing up) influence my life today. These essential questions matter to me because although I have always loved comic books, I have never had the opportunity to set aside enough time to create one. I am also fascinated by history, especially how its impacts can still be felt today. For example, even though the partition of India happened over 70 years ago, my family can still feel its effects to this day.
