My most thought through idea is to go throughout the city and learn about food culture in different communities from different places. I want to do this by learning recipes from local people and testing them out, listening to them and engaging in conversation about the foods of their culture. Once I have learned how to make the main dishes that I learn about, I will make them and document the process. I plan to take photos of the entire experience and create a blog about it that also will serve as a sort of cook book. The blog will be a lot of photography and also writing on all of my experiences. I plan on doing this with Acadia Schimmel because we came up with the idea together. One of us will do the cooking and learning while the other does the blogging and photography, and then we will switch off jobs (or we could just both do both things together at the same time.)
