I decided to take apart the iPhone SE again because the last time I did, I never confirmed whether or not the problem was in the screen or in the logic board. When I turned on the phone, I saw lines going down the screen, but aside from that, the phone worked fine. But I never considered the problem to be in the LCD screen, which should have been obvious at first. I was able to test that out when I removed both the screen from my iPhone SE as well as the one I had been experimenting with. I then took my working screen, plugged it into the other phone and left it to charge. A few minutes later when I came back, everything worked perfectly. When I saw that, I was relieved that I didn’t end up damaging the phone even. more when I dipped the logic board into the alcohol. Next time, I should begin by properly finding the source of the problem before simply assuming what it is in order to prevent me damaging the phone further. I am thinking of ordering a replacement screen online since that is all it seems to need in order to fully fix this iPhone. Overall, I am pleased with the work I did with it.
