A.L Wild Card has 4 teams that are not in the A.L wild card spots they are in a race. The Cleveland Indians only 0.5 games behind. Baltimore only 2.0 games behind the spots. Kansas City and the Yankees are 3.5 games behind. Texas and Tampa Bay have the spots but both teams have been in a slump of sorts. Who clinch those spots will it be Yankees and Baltimore a realistic idea, or would it be the underdogs Kansas City and Cleveland.

Wladimir Balentien strikes a home run

The N.L. Central race is getting very heated as the season starts to come to a close. The Pittsburgh Pirates and the St. Louis Cardinals are in a tie for 1st place, each team with a .584 winning percentage. But, not that far behind them are the Cincinnati Reds, only 3.5 games back of both teams.

Most people don’t really care about what goes on overseas in baseball, but this was a big footnote. But on Sunday night, the former major leaguer Wladimir Balentien, an outfielder for the Central League’s Tokyo Yakult Swallows, hit his 56th home run, pushing him past Sadaharu Oh, Tuffy Rhodes and Alex Cabrera!
