- 6th grade has wrestling as PE and they feel uncomfortable with the sport in general. They also are uncomfortable with the fact that they are wrestling their opposite gender peers. Sometimes, they have to wrestle with the teacher, Frank. He never wrestles with the boys, only the girls. This makes the girls feel uncomfortable. They have not observed him wrestling with the boys. Their parents have been emailing Phil and Ana, but the reps want to make it known that their classmates do not enjoy wrestling. They don’t understand why they have to learn wrestling – it doesn’t seem like self defense and isn’t a valuable life skill. Is there something the reps can do to get this changed?
