Due Friday: I will be out and Sarah will be covering the class.  You will have a quiz in class and Jarrett, Harmon, Simmon and Winnie will recite their poems in class for Sarah and the group. 🙂

1) Read Chapter 4 and 5 in FDR and be quiz ready.

2) 3 Haiku typed out (with your name on this), printed out and please hand to Sarah.

3) Workshop Script emailed to: sbarlow@lrei.org, rbloch@lrei.org AND smroberts@lrei.org by end of day Friday

Note: On Friday you will NOT have Ad Issues – you will have Core All SJ Project time and will use part of this time for set-up groups and part of this time for workshop script groups.

*Theater Workshop will be held this Saturday. Please see Mark tomorrow if you are interested in attending.

Due Monday:

1) Read FDR chapter 6 and answer the reading comprehension questions for chapter 6.  There will NOT be a quiz on this chapter.  FYI.      FDRChap6REV

Homework:

For Thursday

1. Type out 3 haiku poems on one page that are all about Middle School (you can use the ones started in Writer’s Workshop)

For Friday

2. Poetry recitations: Georgia and Roger

3. Read FDR chapters 4 and 5; be quiz ready!

4. SJ workshop outline/template/script  (all group members must contribute)

1. Be prepared for a reading quiz on chapter 1, 2 and 3 in FDR.
2. Work with your group members to complete your workshop script and develop any presentation powerpoint, etc.

1. Emailed to smroberts@lrei.org or handed in (printed out) a SJ PROJECT WORKSHOP PLAN.  One per group.  You should work on this with your group members; one person should not have to do it all.  You will have class time on Thursday and Friday to complete it.
