Spring Break Assignment 2009: Reading a Poetry Collection & Begin Memorizing a Poem –Over the break, read your poetry collection. This must be completed by Monday, 3/30/09 – the first day back from break.
NOTES:
*You must bring your book to school with you on 3/30/09.
*You will be asked to show that you have read the book by completing an in-class assignment on the book.
*This collection will count as one of your 25 independent reading books!
- Work on memorizing 10-15 lines of poetry that you love. This will be performed in front of the class on Friday, 4/3/09, the first Friday after we return. You may perform a longer one if you wish.
- If you are behind on reading 25 books, this is a great opportunity to catch up on that as well. Enjoy your reading adventures!
- If you are behind on the sustainability project, consider using some of Spring Break to catch up. BY THE END OF SPRING BREAK, 3/30/09, YOU MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 3 VISITS and 3 POSTS. See below for more information and the link to our blog.
- Consider Going to the Museum of Arts and Design at 2 Columbus Circle to see Second Lives: Remixing the Ordinary
