Spring Break Assignment 2009: Reading a Poetry Collection & Begin Memorizing a Poem –Over the break, read your poetry collection. This must be completed by Monday, 3/30/09 – the first day back from break.

*You must bring your book to school with you on 3/30/09.
*You will be asked to show that you have read the book by completing an in-class assignment on the book.
*This collection will count as one of your 25 independent reading books!

Have a poetry collection in your hand for a homework check (sorry, no Shel Silverstein). This is the book you will read over Spring Break, and from which you will choose a poem to memorize. See the Spring Break 2009 Assignment for more details.

A. Final Muckraker Poster Assignment due
B.3 poems typed that are inspired by the work we’ve been doing in Writing Workshop. One of these poems must have the title “Wednesday Afternoon”.
