2. Make sure you have done all the steps for the first Exposé writing session–correctly cited four sources and pulled out interesting information/facts/statistics for each AND pulled out the “best of the best” of your current blog postings.

2. Gather research for your exposé project. Four sources in all. No more than two websites! Other two sources are magazines, newspapers, books (though you are free to access these online). If you forget the details of the exposé project, click here for details. You should have notes ready for our work in the lab.

1. Practice reciting your memorized 10-15 lines of poetry. You MUST bring a copy of the poem for me on Monday. Click here to see the rubric I will use to grade you.

2. Read TKAM Chapters 16 and 17 (pages 155-178). Make notes on the handout to prepare for Monday’s “roundtable” discussion. You do not need to write in complete sentences! Your grade will be based on your participation in the discussion, not on your notes.

1. Finish reading TKAM Chapters 12-15, pages 115-155. Complete the questions on these four chapters.

2. Bring in the poetry collection that you just completed reading independently for a quiz. You do not have to have read every single poem in the book. Remember to record this book (and all books you read independently) in the reading log on my desk. You will have a quiz on this book.

3. You must have at least three sustainability blog journal posts that are up to the standards that we discussed in class on Monday. Look at the site for inspiration from your classmates who have worked really hard on their posts!

Wednesday, April 2

1. Bring in a list of 5 research questions you have about your sustainability area. Examples: “Why is organic food so expensive?” (for food group) or “What is the effect of the lead in Chanel lipstick on a person’s body?” (for organic cosmetics group) or “What is the history of New York City parks?” (for city parks group)

2. Bring in a NY Public Library card if you have one.

3. Keep working on memorizing your poem for Monday.

1. Make sure you have detailed notes on three questions on TKAM Part I. Tomorrow you will bring the original handout with the questions on it, your notes, and the book into the computer lab to type up your answers like you did for the Montana 1948/Reconstruction test. You will have one hour to complete all three answers, so you will have to pace yourself.

2. Bring in a printed copy of the poem or excerpt that you are memorizing.
