Wednesday, April 30

Wow; you guys were amazing leaders today!

1. Give yourself a pat on the back and feel proud.

2. Post a sixth and final (!!!) time to the blog: your thoughts on how today went, especially the workshop you lead.

***

Due Friday, May 2

1. Read FDR Chapter 7 and answer 10 (only 10!) of the 18 questions on the handout. Use a separate sheet of paper and include specific examples from the text, as usual!

Tuesday, April 29

Tomorrow is the Day of Learning!

1. Do any last-minute tasks for your workshop and your committee.

2. Wear a green-colored outfit.

2. If the adult who critiqued your workshop today had suggestions, attend to them! Is there anything you need to fix up or prepare for Wednesday so that your workshop is awesome?

3. Anything else you need to do for your Day of Learning committee? (This is separate from your tasks for your workshop!) Are all signs and other items totally finished?

Friday, April 25

Due Monday, April 28

1. Put the finishing touches on your Day of Learning workshop. Gather ALL materials (except fresh food) and make examples and visuals. You need to be ready to present the workshop to a test audience on Monday at 1:30! DO NOT COUNT ON ANYONE ELSE TO PROVIDE THE MATERIALS, including scissors, glue, paper and other things you might take for granted. You will get a work period from 8:30-9:30am, and that will be the last in-school time you get to prepare for Wednesday.

After the interview is over, write down some interesting things the interviewee said that you can add to your exposé. Tape recorders can be checked out from my lower right-hand desk drawer.
