1. Write “On Turning ___” poem in your writer’s notebook (using your choice of age to fill in the blank). Use Billy Collins’ poem “On Turning Ten” as a model: use unique, just-right language. There is no length requirement; just write a quality poem.

At 8:20am tomorrow morning, show me a thoughtful written brainstorm, sketch, outline, or first draft that you put at least 45 minutes of solid effort into.
