Minimester is here! Meet at high school at 8:30 on Wednesday and continue to meet there through Friday afternoon, according to the agreements of your group. I’ll see you there! It’s going to F U N. Work on your essay draft and read your book as the week and weekend go along….  Do not save this work all for the weekend!

Due Monday, November 3:

A typed-up, 11-12 point font, double-spaced first draft of your resistance to slavery essay. Use the guidelines in your packet to add your conclusion to what you have done so far. Also, you must incorporate my edits and keep all drafts to be turned in at the end of the writing process. Use our top 10 guidelines from the board today in class!

Due Tuesday, November 4 (ELECTION DAY):

Your Civil War Letter #2 to your partner! This letter must include a response to their letter #1.

Due Wednesday, November 5:

20  minutes of free writing in your writer’s notebooks from your starter sentences OR on a topic about you of your choice.
