As promised – your homework for Thursday – ENJOY THE SNOW!
Hi Class,
Due Thursday – Take Home Quiz
Due Monday (2/8/10) – Lab Write Up, below is some helpful information for this write-up!
Design your own Experiment Lab write-up: Below are some key questions you should be answering in your lab write up. Please take every opportunity to give an explanation of what you are doing, how you are doing it, why you did it, and why it turned out that way. A final write-up from your group is due to me by class on Monday. You may e-mail it to me if you prefer (and want to save a tree)!
Address what question(s) you are attempting to test and answer:
What experiment are you performing and why (what do you expect the outcome to be – hypothesis)?
Please give a step-by-step explanation of your experiment. Pictures, drawings, diagrams all help.
What are your observations of the experiment? Again, pictures, drawings, diagrams all help.
Did the experiment confirm your hypothesis? Can you explain why or why not?
Presentation wil be included in your grade, so make sure you put care and effort into how this lab looks!
Thanks
Micah
Hi class,
This is the Electrostatics quiz, it is due Thursday February 4th.
The formulas we have used in this unit are:
Coulomb’s Law – F = k (q1xq2)/(d^2) – where k is 9 x 10^9
Electric Field – E = F/q
Electric Potential = Electric Potential Energy / charge
or
Volts = Joules/Coulombs
All answers need to be in complete sentences! If you have any questions, please email me at MDGottlieb@LREI.org, or ask to meet with me in school.
Thanks
Micah
