There will be a Filling and Wrapping unit test next week, either Wednesday or Thursday. I will let you know tomorrow.

No new unit work is due tomorrow, so I recommend you work on BTB #2.

1)  Key Concepts #1.  This will be collected and graded.  Please be neat, organized, thoughtful and thorough.  Show all calculations.

2) BTB set #1.

Due next Tuesday, 9/21:  ACE questions on pages 56 and 57:  #s 15, 24, and 25

Your Beat the Basics assessment will be this Thursday, 9/16.  It will include the following:

Fraction operations, decimal operations, integer operations, order of operations, evaluating algebraic expressions, fraction/decimal/percent conversion table, percent questions (including percent change), area and perimeter/circumference of triangles, parallelograms and circles.

For Friday, 9/10:

Using a piece of paper that is 21.6cm by 28 cm and folding it the long way, find the volume of the following 3 shapes:

-Triangular prism

-Square prism

-Cylinder

Please be sure to show all your calculations and be careful to label your answers correctly.
